The headquarters of Ativa Rafting is located at Doutor Pedrinho, a small mountain town in the valley of the Benedito River, a tributary of the  Itajaí River, Santa Catarina. A region of spectacular beauty with numerous waterfalls and rapids and mostly covered by Atlantic Forest, which is still in its natural state.
Dr. Pedrinho is part of the pole of Eco-tourism "Vale das Aguas" (Valley of the Waters), an amalgamation of seven municipalities around the Valley of the Benedito River, a unique nature and rich culture of German and Italian immigrants. An inn caters to tourists seeking tranquility, nature and adventure.
At a small farm, 3 km away from center of town is the office with all the infrastructure to coordinate the work of  Ativa Rafting and meet partners and customers.
The options for tourists are varied. The valley has a good offer of hiking, biking, rappelling,  canyoning and inflatable kayak down on rapids, or just a nice quiet walk by the rivers of the region.
